515.11 Butyl Rubber Adhesive/ Sealant

Description

515.11 is a butyl rubber-based adhesive and sealant compound especially formulated for aggressive adhesion to most commercial substrates without the need for special surface preparation. 515.11 finds use wherever aggressive adhesion, sound deadening and/or vibration damping is required. Adhesion is typically 100% cohesive failure on most commercial surfaces.

Application

515.11 is not affected by freeze-thaw cycles. It is resistant to fungus of the following types: Chaetomium Globusum, Aspergillus Niger, Aspergillus Flavus and Penicillium Funiculosum.
