545C.11 Foundation Tape

Description

545C.11 is an elastic compound designed to act as a sealant between concrete foundations and metal grain bins, pre-engineered buildings, vaults or other structures. 545C.11 contains 0.125-inch spacers which keep it from squeezing out of the joint and allow it to function as a gasket and sealing material. Adhesion of 545C.11 is excellent to dry, dust free, commercially clean surfaces such as rubber, asphalt, concrete, glass, plastic, wood, or painted surfaces.

545C.11 has good surface tack and adhesion will accumulate over time. It will form a bond to oil coated wood within 24 hours. It can be applied to surfaces at 35°F and can be molded by hand to fit any shape. 545C.11 bonds firmly to itself and needs no supplemental adhesive

Application

545C.11 is freeze-thaw stable. It is compatible with most paints but some oil-based paints will stain, test on a small area before applying.
